Illustration and graphic design

Illustrated maps, signage, comics and images to tell the story of a place or a project.

Black-and-white bird’s-eye map of the Potager du Roi in Versailles

For Alice Stevens, drawing is not just a way of representing ideas but a way of designing. Illustration helps elected officials and residents understand projects, and makes people want to discover a place.

Bird’s-eye maps, information panels, visitor booklets, comics, posters and postcards: her images combine Indian ink, watercolour and digital work.

Since 2023 she has also been an illustrator and artist at Le CoCoom, a collaborative communication agency set up in Laval by entrepreneurs of the Coodémarrage 53 cooperative. There she works on landscape signage, scenography, events and communication strategies, in illustration and graphic design, for public and private players in local development and the social economy.
